Graecis ὕαινα, item ὗς, Archestrato ψαμμῖτις ὀρυκτὴς,

Circa guttur enim habent oris officium, et nisi rostrum arenis immergant, pastum non colligunt. Nempe piscis hic rostro in arena fodit ac rimatur, veluti porcus.
